Sussex Food & Drink Awards ran for 15 years up until the COVID lockdown years, attracting hundreds of entries and 18,000 public votes annually for people’s favourite local food and drink producers and places that sell and serve our superb local fare across the county! Thank you to all those who have taken part over the years, and to the people who voted and shared your passion for local food and drink.
We were proud to run such a successful awards scheme: Sussex Food & Drink Awards was the only awards in the county created to support and boost local farmers, food and drink producers and the outlets which serve and sell their superb local fare and for over 15 years, it had a big impact. People are far more aware of the importance of eating local produce now, and we hope that we played our part in that attitude change.
