“From beers at the historical Harveys Brewery in Lewes,to produce from Eggs to Apples Farm Shop in Etchingham, to fine dining experiences at TERRA at Tottington Manor in Edburton or Alexander House AG’s Restaurant in Turners Hill, there are dozens of placeschampioning local produce this Sussex Day,” said Hilary Knight, co-director of Natural Partnerships CIC.
“Our Sussex Six campaign is all about promoting local produce, and Sussex Day is a wonderful opportunity to show off how lucky we are to have such an incrediblydiverse range of food and drink produced right on our doorstep.”

Sussex Six organisers are urging people to buy local this Sussex Day, whether it’s the ham and cheese sandwich made at home to eat at work, or eating out at a local pub, restaurant or café that serves locally-caught fish, locally-reared meat, or Sussex wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks.
