With over 35 years experience, Twenty-Seven Wine Bar is a female-run, owned, and operated wine bar at the foot of the South Downs that takes pride in their responsibly and locally sourced food and wine, making the process as natural as possible. With a plethora of wines, plenty of delicious grazing options, and alternative drinks to choose from, there’s something for everyone at Twenty-Seven Wine Bar.
Twenty-Seven’s beautiful wine list consists of over 20 wines to explore, including still reds, whites, skin contacts, and of course local sparkling wines. Their sustainable prices range by the glass from £4.80, for a juicy Nero D’ Avola, to the extraordinary Sugrue Zodo for £14.50. For those who prefer a different tipple, local Hepworth ale and lager is available, as well as plenty of no and low-alcohol options from Sussex. To compliment their wines, they offer an ever-evolving menu of bar snacks, small plates, or grazing/sharing boards with delicious local ingredients. Highlights include: a choice of wild venison charcuterie, smoked mackerel brandade, vegan tapenade, and potted crayfish. They also offer lightly salted Marcona almonds or warm Nocellara olives to graze on alongside your wine. Twenty-Seven are also proud to be a sustainable wine bar with all paper products and food waste home composted, and their used bottles, cardboard, and wine closures taken to their local recycling centre.
