Iris Bakery is cooking up a storm with an ever-changing menu of baked goods, filled to the brim with fantastic local ingredients. Expect savoury highlights like their unique and tasty savoury buns, with fillings such as their roasted red kuri squash bun, with squash béchamel, slices of roast delicata, camelina seeds, cheddar, and parmesan, or their gratin dauphinoise rye-spiked bun, filled to the brim with creamy layers of potatoes and finished with masses of cheese. If you’re looking for the prefect sweet treat, look no further than Iris Bakery, with sweet highlights such as their apple butter cinnamon buns, their chocolate pear frangipane, outrageously tasty Madagascar chocolate cookies, brown sugar spelt cake topped with roasted plum and apricot and brown sugar buttercream, and so much more. As for their handcrafted sourdough, to help make sure you don’t miss out, a pre-order system is in place for Thursdays: simply reserve your bread by Wednesday evening (8pm) for collection on Thursday 8.30 am – 2 pm in Hurstpierpoint.
