Woodhorn Farm is a lovely organic dairy farm nestled in the South Downs. Their 250 strong head of dairy cows produce an average of 5,500 litres of fresh, organic milk every day. The majority of their milk goes to their dairy co-operative, Organic Herd, but in 2023 Woodhorn Farm began selling their fresh milk direct to the public through their Cow Shed vending machines in Oving, Sidlesham and Graylingwell.
When Woodhorn’s lovely ladies are not snuggling down in their cosy barn during the colder, darker months, they’re free to spend their days grazing on the lush pastures around the farm before coming in to share their rich, flavourful and wholesome milk with us. The first Cow Shed site at Oving, West Sussex, is just minutes from the farm, so the milk is about as fresh as it gets. Their second site at Berries on Tap in Sidlesham opened in 2025, and their most recent site in Graylingwell has opened October 2026. Woodhorn Farm milk is pasteurised but not homogenised and can be purchased in 500ml and 1 litre reusable glass bottles. As well as offering the public direct access to delicious fresh milk with virtually no food miles incurred, their vending machines also allow for customers to use their own containers, reducing single-use plastics and waste to landfill. Alongside their fresh milk, explore their range of organic flavoured milkshakes, locally sourced coffee, Rookery Farm eggs, Organic Herd butter & cheese, local Sussex cheeses and honey. Grab yourself a sweet treat with handmade gingerbread, brownies, blondies and fudge at the Cow Shed. There’s even treats for your dogs, with Denzels Dog Treats on offer.
