Following the success of their Sussex Charmer Cheese on Toast trailers, Bookham Harrison Farms opened The Milk Churn. Much more than a coffee shop, it opened in April 2013 and has thrived ever since, offering a simple yet delicious menu, which features the farm’s own products along with quality, local Sussex ingredients.
The Milk Churn knows that offering a limited menu means that they need top-notch ingredients for their delicious selection, which features bread from two local artisan bakeries, meat from local family butchers, as well as more than 20 other local producers all around Sussex. Some fantastic highlights from their menu include their Sussex Charmer cheese on toast, served on the lovely SØDT Bakery’s fresh sourdough bread with plenty of chutneys to go with it – a total fan favourite! Barist-quality fresh coffees and teas are also available, which you can enjoy alongside their tasty cakes and other baked goods. As well as their cheese on toast, Milk Churn offers some tasty lunch options such as smashed avocado on toast, the Sussex Charmer macaroni cheese, Charmer Quiche with a tasty side salad, and many more local Sussex dishes to try!
